What are Florida Mobile Home Bonds?

Learn about the importance of this surety bond for your business!

There are three types of mobile home bonds, namely:

  • Mobile Home Dealer Bond
  • Mobile Home Manufacturer Bond
  • Mobile Home Installer Bond

Each mobile home dealer, manufacturer, or installer is required to secure a license before doing business in the State of Florida. An important requirement for the said license is a surety bond.

The purpose of the surety bond is to strengthen the commitment of the mobile home dealer, mobile home manufacturer, and mobile home installer in providing excellent service to their clients by strictly complying with the relevant laws of the state.

If the licensee’s customer suffers any damages due to the licensee’s misconduct, the Obligee of the surety bond will be eligible to recover the amount lost by filing a claim against the surety bond. The financial compensation that can be retrieved will be up to the surety bond’s penal sum.
