What do you accept as collateral?

  • Credit cards – The amount that you’ll pledge as collateral will not appear on your monthly bill nor will it incur an interest. We will simply put a hold on it.
  • Letter of Credit from a Bank – this is a guarantee that your bank will provide us. Basically, your bank is saying that you have a sufficient amount required for the bond.
  • Real estate – home or land that you own that is located in the United States.
  • Marketable securities – examples of these are government bonds, common stocks, or certificates of deposit. We’ll put these liquid financial instruments in a collateral account until the bond is exonerated or discharged.

We also provide no-collateral bonds. The only thing we’ll need from you is your signature if you’re eligible for this option.

No-collateral bonds, also known as signature bonds, have a set of requirements that must be completed. Call us to see if you are eligible.
