Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Division Jail

The Pacific Community Police Station provides policing services to the following areas:

  • Del Rey
  • Manchester Square
  • Mar Vista
  • Oakwood
  • Palms
  • Playa Del Rey
  • Playa Vista
  • Venice
  • Westchester

When someone is arrested in one of the aforementioned areas, they will be brought to the Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Division Jail where they will be booked shortly after arrival.

The standard booking process involves lodging the arrestee’s personal information into the jail system. The arrestee’s fingerprints and photographed will be taken as well.

During the booking process, the arrestee will be allowed to call a family member, an attorney, and a bail bondsman.

If the arrestee is granted bail, he or she may post it once the booking process is finished. If bail is not posted, the arrestee will be placed inside a holding cell to wait for his or her arraignment.

As part of the LAPD, the Pacific Community Police Station offers several programs that will help protect the community.

One is the e-Policing service where residents can receive crime trends and other important newsletters via email.

Another one is the Neighborhood Watch Program. Residents who joins the program can actively help prevent crime in their neighborhoods with the help of the police officers.

The participants are educated about their roles and responsibilities, and how they can make their areas safer and better.

What will happen when the defendant seeks the help of a bail bondsman?

Most of the time, it is the defendant’s significant other, family member, or a friend who gives us a call, and not the defendant.

When you call us up, one of our licensed bail bondsmen will take the call and ask you several important questions in order to assess the case.

  • Does he or she have a booking number?
  • What’s the full name of the person being held in the Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Division Jail?
  • What is the caller’s relationship to the arrestee?
  • Is the arrestee a U.S. Citizen?
  • What is the arrestee being charged with?

These are just some of the questions that we usually ask the caller. Once we have assessed and decided to take the case, we will then send the necessary forms that must be completed.

In order to save time, everything will be sent via email. You don’t have to physically go to our office to complete the paperwork. You may do this wherever you are.

If the caller will be the co-guarantor as well, the caller will be required to digitally sign a contract. The contract will state the co-guarantor’s financial responsibilities in case that the defendant skips bail.
