GLENDORA JAIL

The City of Glendora Police Department operates its on-site jail facility: Glendora Jail. There are five jailers at Glendora Jail who are all under the supervision of an on-duty Watch Commander.

Glendora Jail is a Type 1 Jail Facility, which means that persons who are brought here upon arrest can only be detained up to a maximum of 96 hours.

Un-sentenced arrestees who are charged with misdemeanor and felony who are being booked, awaiting arraignment, or a transfer to another jail are detained here.

Persons who are arrested by Irwindale Police are also processed and booked at Glendora Jail. After the arrestees’ personal information have been lodged into the jail system, their photos taken, fingerprints live scanned, and personal belongings itemized, they will be allowed to be released on bail.

There’s a routine bail schedule set by a judge. If a bail is not posted, the arrestee will be handed over to the Los Angeles County Sheriff, where they will be moved to the main jail.

If your loved one has been transferred to a main jail, we can still help. However, it will take much longer to get them out as compared to bailing out an arrestee from Glendora Jail.
