When to use a bail bondsman?

You have limited cash on hand to post bail: A bail bondman has enough assets to satisfy the full bail amount. There’s no need for the arrestee or his loved ones to pay the entire bail amount to the court, the bail bondsman will do it for them. In return, the said person or his loved one will be asked to pay 10% of the bail amount as bond premium.

The bail amount is based on the bail schedule that is established pursuant to the Uniform Bail Procedures Committee and approved by the judges of the Orange County Superior Court.

If you want to save time: Unlike Cash Bonds or Property Bonds, you don’t need to look for extra cash to come up with the full bail amount or have a property assessed (which can take days).

Convenience: The entire bail bond process will be done online. There’s no need to physically come to our office to apply for one. Once the forms are completed and the bond premium is paid, our bail bondsman will immediately go to Fullerton Jail to post bail.

How does a bail bond work?

A bail bond is like a deposit provided by the person who has been arrested to the court. This is to assure the court that the defendant will attend all court hearings once released from Fullerton Jail.

A bail bond is a privilege provided to the defendant so that the defendant can get his affairs in order outside of jail.

The bail bondsman is assuring the court that he will pay the full bond amount if the defendant fails to appear on the intended court dates.

If the defendant fails to appear in court, the court will declare the bond forfeited. The court will issue a warrant for the arrest of the defendant.
