ABOUT CLAREMONT JAIL

Claremont Jail is located at Claremont, California – a beautiful, multicultural city famous for its colleges, which is the reason why Claremont is called the “City of trees and PhDs”.

Claremont Jail is a Type 1 jail that is operated by the Claremont Police Department. As a Type 1 facility, Claremont Jail can hold arrestees for up to 96 hours after they have been booked. If the defendant was not able to post bail, the defendant will wait for his or her arraignment inside Claremont Jail or be transferred to larger county jails such as Lynwood Jail and Twin Towers Correctional Facility.

Arraignment is when a defendant is brought before a judge for an initial hearing of the case.

Claremont jail – which is located between Arrow Highway and Foothill Blvd. – can hold a maximum of 18 inmates at any given time, and has 5 full-time jailers.

Here’s How to Get a Bail Bond

Step 1: Contact Us

You may call us, email us, or fill out our contact form HERE.

Step 2: The defendant and the defendant’s co-guarantors (family, friends, or relatives) needs to complete the necessary paperwork, pay the bail bond premium, and pledge a collateral (if needed).

With our secured online bail bonding service, you can easily obtain a bail bond without physically going to our office to fill out the paperwork.

You can sign the documents anywhere you are as long as there is an internet connection. This will be sent through our secured digital transaction management service.

Step 3:  We will post bail for the defendant.

The defendant will be released after he or she has been booked – the process in which the identity of the defendant is verified by the enforcement agency.

The amount of time before the defendant is released will depend on the jail’s procedure and size.

Bail Bond Cost

A bond premium is the amount that the bail bond company requires from the defendant and his co-guarantors. A bond premium is typically 10% of the bail amount. We offer a lower bond premium in special circumstances. We also offer a no-collateral bond in most cases. We offer several payment options as well.
