What is a Bail Bond?

A bail bond is the most common sort of bail because it is the quickest, easiest, and least expensive.

A bail bond can be used to get a defendant out of jail. The defendant can wait for his or her trial outside of prison if the bail conditions are met, as long as he or she returns for the trials or court procedures. If the defendant fails to appear, the judge will forfeit the bail and the defendant will be imposed the judgment.

The Process of Securing a Bail Bond

Step 1: Call Us

We’re ready to take your call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Step 2: The defendant and the defendant’s co-guarantors (family, friends, or relatives) will need to complete the necessary paperwork, pay the bail bond premium, and pledge a collateral (if required).

The bond premium will usually be 10% of the bail amount set by the judge. We offer lower than 10% in special cases. We offer less than 10% for special cases.

We also offer no-collateral bonds. Please contact us for further details.

Step 3:  The bail bondsman will post bail on behalf of the defendant.

The defendant will be released after he or she has been booked – the process in which the identity of the defendant is verified by the enforcement agency.

The amount of time before the defendant is released will depend on the jail’s procedure and size.
